Kings Park Swimming Pool

The championships will take place at Kings Park Swimming Complex, the same venue that was used for the 1996 World Championships and 2005 Southern Hemisphere Championships.

The complex has an Olympic-sized indoor pool which will be used to provide 2 playing fields 25m x 12m at a constant depth of 1.9 m. The surface has large tiles of approximately 200mm x 100mm with +- 10 mm grouting in between.

There will be a cafeteria at the pool as well as numerous other stalls selling sporting equipment and other items. The Pool pub, the Wet Spot, will be open in the evenings.

Internet access will be available via hot spots and two computers - users will be given log-ins and passwords to monitor usage.
